The Environment Protection Department (EPD) initiated the Community Recycling Network and established multiple Community Recycling Centres (CRC) in various locations in Hong Kong for recyclable collection. However, the outcomes were unsatisfactory due to the centers’ unpleasant environment and limited, often obscure coverage. Recognizing this opportunity, EPD decided to completely revamp the image of CRCs in the launch of their second generation, aiming to maximize their effectiveness.
Task
To transform the new CRCs into approachable and reliable neighbors, positioning them as sleek and bold Convenience Stores of Recycling.
